I need this! Between me and my fiancé we have lots of consoles too, so do have them all displayed and connected like this would be awesome!
Cat, is this all yours?
Nice work Ralf!
Genius.

I wouldn’t put it past them…

Don Draper from Mad Men, based on Draper Daniels
More than just Don’s namesake, Draper Daniels was a legend in the world of advertising during the ’60s, though he was based in Chicago with the firm Leo Burnett and not in New York with the rest of the Madison Avenue elite. Apparently he was much more devoted to his wife, Myrna, than Don is, too — he never cheated and even quit drinking when she asked (although the story of their marriage is more than a little disturbing in other ways)

Awesome!
Something from a type specimen #1
Alpha Blox was The American Type Founders’ mid-century modular lettering system. It was a set of metal types with different shapes that printers could use to make custom letters and logotypes. This was much cheaper and faster than dealing with custom lettering or graphic design.
There were a few other modular type systems, like the crazy art-deco Super Veloz, but I love the simple industrial park feel of the ATF’s design. Just about anything you could make with it would have mid-century gas pipe awesomeness.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t turn up any detailed info about Alpha Blox. But, if you want to get your hands dirty, it looks like the Dale Guild Foundry is still casting Alpha Blox in metal.
ZOMG. Take a look at Canon’s two new cinema cameras.
The EOS-1D C and the C500 both shoot 4K resolution videos. Read up on them below.
