[Question - On running Design Matters internet radio show] On top of being exhausting, it must be exhilarating to interview all these amazing people. What have you discovered, in general, about dealing with the industry’s leading practitioners?

[Answer - Debbie Millman] Other than Massimo Vignelli and Milton Glaser (who are both in their 70s), everyone is insecure. Everyone wonders if they’re good enough or smart enough or brave enough. Everyone.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels insecure about my work.

My first run at the Easter resources we are making at work.
This is very much a draft, so it will mostly likely change, but I am quite happy with how it’s shaping up.
There will be four pieces, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Illustration is not my forté, so when I do something like this and it turns out ok it feels good :-)
Also, this is 100% digital, even the fabric texture I made in AI and PS.

As an avid Wired subscriber, I am often impressed with the typography of the magazine. This led me to license Vitesse when it was released a few months ago. Now H&FJ have released Forza, the sans counterpart to Vitesse. I need to save some pennies and get it I think.

Hello: The Possibilities Are Endless

Today, more than any other day in age, we have more opportunities to do something great. Not only that, but we have a larger audience for our work to be seen. You can google just about anything right now and find at least one website that shows you how to do it.

It kind of felt like the blog needed more color today, so I think I’ve found the perfect solution to this. I was browsing over on design work life, one of my newest favorite blogs which is run by Courtney Doloff who runs a design studio in New York called Seamless Creative. Courtney posted about two separate projects, one was called Chalk Walk by Katie Sokoler and the other was a new gallery show called Crystals & Lasers by MWM in Paris.
